This week has seen another wave of appointments and departures at brands, media owners and agencies. The Drum has rounded up the key moves from the EMEA, APAC and North America regions below.

EMEA people are on the move

Verizon Media

Verizon Media UK has secured Monica Majumdar as head of strategy. Majumdar previously spent over four years at Spark Foundry where she was head of strategy and planning.

DAZN

DAZN, the global leader in sports streaming, announced today that communications veteran Nancy Elder has been appointed the company’s first chief corporate communications officer and a member of the organization’s executive committee.

Shpock

Mobile marketplace Shpock has appointed of Chris Gawor as head of global advertising sales spanning the UK, Germany and Austria.

MediaCom

MediaCom UK has announced the appointment of James Mackenzie as chief investment officer, following a successful two years as head of investment.

AnalogFolk

AnalogFolk has appointed experienced service designer Michelle Watson as executive director of customer experience. In her new position, Watson will be responsible for expanding the company’s efforts in helping brands to improve the way they serve their customers.

Engine

Following the departure of its chief growth officer, Simon Peck, a few weeks ago, Matt Edwards, chief executive of its creative experience and design division is to leave Engine. Of the six-person new management structure it announced in January, only four remain.

MediaCom

MediaCom UK has named James Mackenzie as chief investment officer. He joined the media agency two years ago from PHD.

Starbucks

Maria Sebastian, senior vice president, marketing product and brand at Starbucks, has decided to leave the coffee chain. She hasn't announced her next move.

Cazoo

Used car platform Cazoo has turned to MoneySupermarket's former chief marketing officer Darren Bentley to serve as its own chief marketing officer as it seeks to redefine the secondhand car market.

Barclays

After 16 years with the bank, Claire Hilton is leaving her role as managing director, brand and insight at Barclays. She hasn't said where her next role will be, but it is understood that Hilton has a new job lined up.

Superunion

WPP Global brand agency Superunion has appointed Keith Lucas as UK strategy partner. Lucas will be responsible for delivering its London’s strategic offering with key corporate global clients across multiple markets.

Proximity London

Proximity London has appointed Ronnie Crosbie as head of strategic planning. Charged with leading the agency’s 21-strong planning department, Crosbie will report directly to chief strategy officer Adam Fulford.

Milkmoney

Milkmoney, a division of IPG agency Octagon Sports and Entertainment, has named Roslyn Barnfield as its head of production. In the role, Barnfield will lead its UK office across all aspects of moving image production.

Grey London

Dave Robinson is joining Grey London as head of integrated design, a brand new role at the agency, as it moves to create a unique design offering.

Grey Group

Javier Campopiano, best known for his award-winning 'It’s a Tide Ad' campaign from the Super Bowl, joins Grey Group in a new global role as chief creative officer, Grey Europe and Global Clients.

Leagas Delaney

Leagas Delaney has appointed Lucy Collier as creative director. Collier, most recently creative partner of DF London will work closely with creative copywriter, Matthew Dickman.

APAC people on the move

iProspect

iProspect has appointed William Ferrell to the role of head of consulting. He is tasked to drive data-led digital solutions to accelerate clients’ business growth and to further strengthen the agency’s consult offering.

Isobar

Isobar has announced the appointment of Nomfundo Msomi as strategic planning director. Reporting to David Jessop, Managing Director of Isobar Hong Kong, Nomfundo will take the lead on driving experience-led digital, communicaton and brand strategies.

VMLY&R

Gary Teo will return to VMLY&R as managing director of experiences and technology, where he will lead the charge in elevating VMLY&R's connected brand experiences for clients across Asia. He was previously the marketing technologies lead at Accenture.

Enero Group

Enero Group has announced the appointment of Gavin Coombes to the newly created role of group chief strategy officer.

Lion & Lion

Lion & Lion has appointed a new managing director, John Campbell-Bruce to the Jakarta office who will drive Lion & Lion’s second-biggest market. He replaces Steven Ghoos who will be leading Lion & Lion’s business in Singapore as the new managing director.

Star Media Group

Media conglomerate Star Media Group Berhad has picked Andreas Vogiatzakis, the former chief executive of Havas Malay­sia, as its new group chief executive officer.

Colenso BBDO

Teresa Luckman has recently departed London to join the Colenso team as experience design lead.

Omnicom Media Group

Omnicom Media Group has today announced the appointment of Mike Worden to lead the McDonald’s business, following the promotion of Jonathan Betts from within the Omnicom Media Group network.

Publicis Groupe

After announcing the formation of North Asia as a region, Publicis Media has widened the remit of managing partner APAC Jane Lin-Baden, to assume direct responsibility for the region. All country leadership teams across Greater China, South Korea and Japan will report directly to her.

Apple

Arnau Bosch Vergés, one of Apple's lead creatives, is departing its agency of record, TBWA\Media Arts Lab, to launch a social media platform for musicians.

Evoke

Evoke has appointed industry veteran Jennifer O'Dwyer as president, North America. O'Dwyer brings more than 20 years of industry experience, serving in senior client services and account leadership positions.

Eurosport

Discovery has named Paul Rehrig general manager of Eurosport Digital. Rehrig will oversee the European sportscaster's digital direct-to-consumer (DTC) unit, including Eurosport App, Eurosport Player and Eurosport.com, which sees over 30 million monthly users.

Deloitte Digital

Deloitte Digital has named McCann New York's chief operating officer, Rich Whalen, as managing director of its national studio and creative offering.

Fiat Chrysler

Fiat Chrysler has hired Nike's former chief marketing officer Davide Grasso to breathe fresh life into its Maserati brand. Grasso will join the luxury car marque as chief operating officer, with a remit "to rejuvenate Maserati worldwide" after global sales of the motor slumped by almost 20% in 2018.

The Ad Council

The Ad Council has named David Fischer, chief revenue officer at Facebook, as chair of its board of directors.

Empower

Empower continues to invest in its content studio, hiring Terry Dillon as creative director and Wally German as lead photographer and videographer.

Ciceron

Ciceron has named Anton Friant as its vice president/creative director. He will report directly to chief exec and founder, Andrew Eklund.
