TravelSupermarket appoints Darren Bentley as marketing director

Online comparison tool TravelSupermarket has announced the appointment of Darren Bentley to fill the newly created role of marketing director.

Bentley will be tasked with overseeing marketing strategy for all above the line and digital channels by collaborating with existing partners and expanding the team.

Bringing more than a decade of experience to the table, including a stint as head of performance media at parent firm MoneySupermarket Group - where he oversaw development of the platforms in-house performance marketing capability.

Bentley, who specialises in direct response and performance focussed digital marketing, said: “It’s a really exciting time to join the TravelSupermarket team. We have highly ambitious growth targets over the next three years and both a fantastic team and product roadmap to help deliver them. I’m looking forward to being able to leverage my digital expertise across the brand more directly, and building out a best in class marketing function with the support of MoneySuperMarket Group and our agency partners.”
