EMEA wins

Vodafone has appointed Anomaly as its global strategic and creative agency partner.

Having officially dropped the 'Sushi' from its logo three years ago, Japanese food brand Yo has enlisted indie agency Pablo to communicate to customers how much it has diversified its menus and product range.

AO.com has appointed The Specialist Works as its UK media agency in a non-competitive pitch.

Ogilvy UK has inked a deal with Instagram influencer marketing platform Takumi that will give clients like Bacardi and Skoda the ability to execute local campaigns with influencers in multiple languages quickly.

Luxury travel brand Red Savannah has enlisted Sagittarius as its Sitecore specialist agency to help them grow in the US and UK.

Strategic marketing agency Home has been appointed by the UK’s leading sugar confectionery manufacturer Tangerine.

Journey Further has been appointed by Evans Cycles to handle its entire performance marketing account with a media budget.

The Book People has named Frank as its retained social, influencer and PR agency.

Engine has been appointed to lead on the Cazoo brand and creative development while Goodstuff has been engaged to handle media planning and buying for the launch campaign.

Wunderman Thompson has been appointed by cybersecurity provider Kaspersky to develop a new worldwide brand marketing campaign following a competitive pitch.

APAC wins

Visit Victoria has appointed Saatchi & Saatchi Melbourne as it's lead creative and strategy agency.

Americas wins

Innocean has won the media account for UC Davis Health. The agency will provide media planning and buying and will be tasked with developing an efficient communications plan to reach UC Davis Health’s diverse audiences.

Berlin Cameron has been named US agency of record for the Whisky brand, Wild Turkey - a division of Campari Group.

Mosaic has been selected by HP for a new retail partnership. Mosaic will provide on-site retail support for HP in thousands of retail locations across the US.

Iron Mountain has named Centerline Digital as its global agency of record in a two-year deal.

Reviews

Lucozade has whittled down the finalists for its creative account, as it continues to outsource creative despite developing an in-house team. With Grey opting out, Mother, Adam & Eve, Lucky Generals and Havas remain.

Mergers

S4 Capital-owned MediaMonks is to merge with influencer agency IMA in order to advance is digital marketing offering. The deal will see the two Amsterdam headquartered companies unify.

After splitting in 2006, Viacom and CBS have officially merged to create a combined media company worth $28bn.

Launches

Sky Bet has relaunched its branded content Sky Sports companion shows, the Football Social, and Football Daily.

Hertz has become the latest major brand to take marketing in-house, by opening its own agency named Hertz Engine to handle creative in Europe.

Snap has set up its first office in India - its sixth-biggest market.

Pinterest has launched its first Australian office, based in Sydney.
