Vodafone has appointed Anomaly as its global strategic and creative agency partner.

Anomaly has been tasked with providing strategic and creative insight for Vodafone's global campaigns and initiatives, to ensure they have a positive and social impact.

The agency will also support Vodafone's commitment to develop dynamic and personalised creative for Vodafone's in-house media buying teams. The business will run out of Anomaly's London office. Vodafone's long-term agency partner Santo worked previously on the account.

Anomaly most recently launched a campaign for Virgin Trains that urged viewers to imagine the ideal form of travel.

Vodafone's group marketing and brand director Nikos Vlachopoulos said of the account win: "Anomaly is aligned with Vodafone's strong values and will be able to work with us in an agile way to develop campaigns and initiatives that have a positive and genuine social impact. Anomaly will also support our expanded need to deliver creative ideas for digital content at scale."
