The stage has been set, all we need now is the cast and the audience. The Drum’s Digital Trading Awards has now launched in Asia Pacific and we’ve created a short guide to help you get involved.

What is it?

First started in 2013, The Drum Digital Trading Awards aims to partner with the industry to encourage programmatic-shy advertisers into the space by showcasing best in class data-led advertising, building on industry standards and creating a platform for discussion.

Culminating in the awards night, The Drum Digital Trading awards has been running for almost four years in the UK and two years in the US. Ahead of the awards night, it also brings the industry together around editorial content to drive forward the discussions needed to grow this crucial part of the advertising industry.

Clarity and transparency

The theme for the inaugural event in Asia is clarity and transparency in recognition of the businesses that excelling in these important industry qualities.

This has been the theme for the first year of the awards as its debuted in each market but the timing for Asia Pacific couldn’t be more important, as the industry looks to regain discourse and reputation after a string of high profile issues.

Awards categories

A variety of categories represent the dynamics of the industry, from technology-focused awards to campaign-specific categories. Data use and measurement also get a look-in, with effectiveness a key theme across the programme.

The Drum is also proud to partner with the IAB Singapore, putting support behind categories such as ‘Best use of Creativity’, ‘Best Publisher Innovation’ and ‘Most Effective use of Data’.
