Enchanting Escape

Enchanting Escape: Escaping from reality into the door of enchantment… A world of mystery and magic which can only be seen in the darkness. Is it sorcery or perhaps a spell or even a fairy? A fusion of colours intertwine as they lead up to a portal, but who can enter? I wanted to create a final image which seemed magical. I had taken the original image using the exposure feature on my iPhone. I lowered the exposure which darkened the surroundings. This bought more focus and slightly darkened the pale colours of the sky. Using photoshop, I made the light blues to a more teal/emerald colour and as for the pale yellow tones to a more fiery orange. I used the 'hue & saturation'/'selective colour' tool to create the tones. For intricate detail I used various brush strokes/patterns.

I'm Ruqayya and I am currently an apprentice as a junior content producer. If I were to describe myself in 3 words, I would describe myself as a friendly, competitive and creative individual. I love to have a fun whilst also getting things done.. get the best of both worlds :) I've always wanted to be a part of the media world, since I did both media GCSE and A-level. I personally found it as an escape from the subjects I didn't really enjoy and to be able to do an apprenticeship in this field feels like a dream come true. I love creating content whether that be on social channels like TikTok (keeping up with current trends) to Youtube. I have also been learning how to promote content which is great! All in all, I'm someone who wants to dive deep in this creative hole and do bigger and better things as each day passes!
