BBC Sounds, Bitesize, Weather, Sport and News all make an appearance in unlikely places.

Thanks to some clever editing, BBC’s latest campaign puts a tongue-in-cheek twist on some of its offerings. Devised by the broadcaster’s in-house team, BBC Creative, each short film takes original footage from popular shows and then flips the narrative with various humorous additions.

Some of the mashups include the submarine drama Vigil paired with a Daniel Bedingfield song playing on Radio 1, the kids’ TV show Hey Duggie with the Understand: The Economy podcast and EastEnders with the weather app.

With the ‘Not Just Telly’ campaign, the channel wants to remind the nation of the breadth of services that are available to everyone.
