Dame Judi Dench has switched from the big screen to the small screen for her latest starring role as a brand ambassador for price comparison portal MoneySuperMarket.

The venerable Oscar-winning actress assumes the role of leader of the MoneySuperSeven team, a group of purple patriots dedicated to slashing the bills of Britons.

‘Saving the Nation’ by New Commercial Arts harnesses Dench’s star power to promote efforts to slash a collective £1bn from the cost of insurance, mortgages and loans to help combat the cost-of-living crisis.

Assuming the codename ‘Eight,’ Dench serves as mastermind of the operation from a hi-tech villa, pushing the team to deliver the best deals possible for the public.

Ian Heartfield, creative founder at New Commercial Arts, said: “In the face of the growing cost-of-living crisis, the MoneySuperSeven are redoubling their efforts to save the British public money. And who better to lead them than Dame Judi Dench?”

Lis Blair, general manager, insurance, marketing and customer at MoneySuperMarket, added: “We are thrilled that Dame Judi has joined the MoneySuperSeven to steer the squad through its toughest challenge yet.”

Dench recently partnered with fellow screen and stage star Benedict Cumberbatch to promote Red Nose Day 2021.
