MSG Networks is launching ‘Wellness Week,’ a full week of content that will promote healthy living at the start of the new year, led by the New York-based media group’s on-air personalities. Various wellness tips for mind and body will be featured, and the health, fitness and wellness-themed content will start running on Monday, January 21 across all of MSG Networks’ digital and social channels.

Throughout the week-long initiative, MSG Networks’ on-air personalities for the Knicks, Rangers, Islanders and Devils will share their favorite workout routines, sleeping techniques, dieting tips and more. Fans will also get an up-close look at some of their favorite players training, both in the gym and on the court and ice, like UFC star Chris Weidman training with players such as Islanders All-Star Mathew Barzal, and working out with New York Rangers analyst Joe Micheletti.

The coverage will include interviews with broadcasters like Knicks legend and MSG Networks analyst Walt “Clyde” Frazier, who will share his guide to healthy eating and game day routine on the road, or Islanders analyst AJ Mleczko, who will share her best yoga practices and tips for calming the mind. Additionally, during the week, Barbara Close, master herbalist and founder of Naturopathica, a holistic beauty brand and New York-based wellness spa, will provide viewers with personal healing techniques and herbal remedies designed to enhance one’s well-being.

“With our latest themed week offering, we have the opportunity to creatively elevate our coverage and build fan engagement on social media throughout the week,” said Kevin Marotta, senior vice president, marketing and content strategy, MSG Networks. “Following the success of our recent ‘Food Week’ in November and ‘Rookie Week’ this past summer, this wellness-themed initiative will allow us to now tap into a new audience and further expand our content focus.”

The all-week wellness takeover will include interactive features, custom promotions and increased engagement across MSG Networks’ website, YouTube and social channels, as well as on MSG GO, MSG Networks’ live streaming and video on-demand platform for smartphones, tablets and computers. Fans are encouraged to join the conversation and post their own wellness-themed content on social media using the campaign hashtag #MSGWellnessWeek.
