Booking.com has enlisted DJ Khaled to help launch its mobile-based Booking Experiences product in the US.
Booking Experiences has been called an in-destination product that helps travelers find the best experiences in the cities they’re visiting. Travelers can make payments and get priority access to select attractions, venues and tours, and Booking.com members can take advantage of exclusive deals and discounts.
DJ Khaled’s role in the partnership has involved giving away complimentary tickets and meet and greets during the musician’s sold-out North American Tour, in select cities where Experiences normally live: LA and San Francisco, with special releases planned for New York and Miami.
Khaled, who the travel site considers the ultimate experience maker, has also provided exclusive travel tips for app users, including, but not limited to: wild jet ski experiences, sunset yacht cruises, immersive laser mazes, and nightlife excursions.
DJ Khaled gave his thoughts on the partnership: “Major Key, ALERT! I’m excited to collaborate with Booking.com on their Booking Experiences product launch, which lets travelers be great and discover all the cool things their favorite destinations have to offer all via their smartphone.”
Ram Papatia, Booking.com’s vice president of experiences added: “We’re constantly exploring new ways to leverage technology in order to facilitate seamless and enjoyable travel experiences for our customers at every stage of their journey and with Booking Experiences, we’re doing just that.
“With Booking Experiences, we’ve curated the top things to do in New York City, San Francisco, Miami and Los Angeles, with more US cities on the way, and have negotiated great deals for our customers. We are thrilled to be working with DJ Khaled to celebrate how Booking Experiences seamlessly helps our customers enjoy whatever they want to do, whenever they want to do it.”
The prolific hype man, motivational speaker and Miami-based disc jockey has found himself as the face of multiple brand campaigns since taking over Snapchat with his regularly-viral content. Most recently, he had been added to Weight Watchers list of brand ambassadors.
