The CMO Challenge: does your marketing really work?

Does your marketing really work?

Faced with constant change – from new technologies to changing consumer behaviour, CMOs are facing a rather challenging time. With the Mad Men days of marketing well and truly over, the marketer today must address these challenges of constant change and increased complexity.

The Drum has teamed up with software company Domo to explore just that.

Join our webinar series to find out the solutions to the challenges facing marketing teams today. The webinar will include Jason Burby, former president, Possible and chief customer office, Domo; Chris Fender, head of data and analytics for L’Oreal UK; and marketing director at Domo, Mark Johnston

The webinar series: The CMO Challenge: Does your marketing really work? will discuss the following:

1. The leadership principles for delivering true business value from marketing

Jason Burby , who is also the co-author of the book ‘Does it really work?’ will talk about the following key principles:

• Measure the data that really matters

• Launch the initiatives that really pay off

• Inspire the creativity that really drives an effective campaign

• Hire and inspire excellent creatives

• Turn obstacles into opportunity

2. Lessons from L’Oreal

In the second webinar of the series, L’Oreal will talk about how they navigate huge complexity to create clarity in their ROI. Chris Fender from L’Oreal UK will discuss the value in shifting data, the ‘digital cockpit’ and how L’Oreal can make decisions based on ROI and performance that matters.

3. Making your data work for you

In the final in the series, we will look at practical steps any marketer can take to put into place the lessons learned from the authors of ‘Does it really work?’ and L’Oreal. Mark Johnston from Domo will explore how you can deliver your marketing strategy to the next level.
