After acquisition spree, Be Heard reports 25% revenue rise

Be Heard Group celebrates second birthday with 25% revenue rise

Be Heard Group has marked its second year in business by posting a 25% rise in organic revenues following a period of rapacious growth which has seen it acquire five businesses.

Launched by former Aegis chief executive Peter Scott in 2015, the Group is among a new breed of holding companies that are promising to shake up the sector.

That aquisition spree - the latest saw it buy out creative shop The Corner in a deal worth £12m - appears to be paying off with a client roster which now includes Unilever, Vodafone and Addison lee

Scott said: “Phase one of our strategy is well advanced – building an integrated, end-to-end platform to offer connected, digital marketing services. The Group’s focus is now shifting to the next phase of our strategy – driving organic revenue growth by maximising collaboration across our partner agencies.”

Be Heard companies now include MMT Digital, analytics specialists Freemavens and digital media, planning and buying agency Agenda21, which have led the way in areas such as AI with the development of the UK’s first AI powered commercial chatbot, and content marketing agency Kameleon.
