The&Partnership poaches Havas global creative director to lead £240m Team Toyota division

WPP’s The&Partnership has tapped Havas global creative director Andre Moreira to lead the creative output for Team Toyota, the network set up on the back of the £240m business moving to the agency last year.

The agency group set up the dedicated division inside Toyota office last year, having set up the same model for News UK and TalkTalk. It saw the company’s creative, media, digital, content and data analytics for the Toyota brand and Lexus consolidated across 16 European markets.

Joining as executive creative director, Moreira will oversee the creative development of all The&Partnership’s work for Toyota, working closely with creative leads and clients across Europe.

“The operation that The&Partnership is building for Toyota and Lexus is truly progressive and an incredibly exciting project to be part of,” he said.

“It’s a real hybrid of a network – part agency and part in-house team – all with a genuinely innovative data-driven approach at its core. I’m proud and excited to be a part of it – and look forward to proving that this new way of doing things really can lead to ground-breaking work”.

Moreira spend six years at Havas, developing the global creative for clients including Peugeot, Huawei and Chivas Regal.

Prior to that he held roles at Albion, 180 Amsterdam, BBDO and Y&R, and worked across accounts including Sky, eBay, Epson, Sony, Opel, Nissan, Danone, Hyundai and Santander.
