Ex-Nissan digital supremos David Parkinson and Rich Rust are striking out together in a solo venture with the formation of a global digital consultancy split between offices in London and Dubai.

Brave & Heart aims to lend a helping hand to clients wishing to source additional support in fields such as capability benchmarking, rapid prototyping and strategy development – offering a more streamlined service than the global consultancies.

The business launches with specialisms in aviation, aerospace and automotive brands.

Parkinson, who has spent a quarter century at Nissan establishing digital organisations across Europe, Africa and the Middle East, said: “We see a clear need for a new model – one that harnesses real-world expertise and is able to provide rapid, flexible support to brands and their partners to deliver disruptive digital. Amateur hour is over. Our clients need bravery and passion.”

Rust, who comes from a more diverse background having spent time with Jaguar Land Rover, Accenture and most recently Ogilvy as well as Nissan, added: “Offering agile, remote teams and engaging specialist expertise where and when needed, is something that is critical to our approach. We provide expert digital firepower to our clients without the burden of expensive consultancy overheads and the associated bureaucracy.”
