IAB Singapore expands board as part of plans to grow digital investment in 2017

IAB Singapore has announced its 2017 board members, expanding the number of people on the board from eight to 14.

The organisation has also created four committees around key topics for marketers in South East Asia, which will each have two co-chairs. The four topics are: mobile and social, content and video, measurements and standards and data, and programmatic.

IAB Singapore chief executive and ambassador to South East Asia, Miranda Dimopoulos, said: “Expanding the board is a direct reflection of the growth of our membership and initiatives complementing the growth of the industry. South East Asia is a wonderfully diverse region increasingly driven by digital and the insights and contribution from our board will be vital in raising the industry bar even higher.”

According to Dimopoulos, the expansion is another signal for growth for the organisation, which hired former Campaign Asia journalist Gabey Goh to the role of content and education director.
