Syrian Electronic Army claims responsibility for @BBCWeather Twitter hack

The Syrian Electronic Army has in the last ten minutes claimed responsibility for hacking the BBC Weather Twitter feed.At about 1pm, the feed began to tweet some unusual messages, such as: ‘Hazardous fog warning for North Syria: Erdogan orders terrorists to launch chemical weapons at civilian areas’.This follows accounts such as Burger King and Jeep being hacked last month.

UPDATED: At 5.22pm, The BBC Press Office announced that it had taken control back for the accounts and deleted the tweets sent by the hackers.
