The Burger King Twitter feed has been hacked this afternoon, with the people who have taken over claiming to be McDonalds. The feed claims that Burger King has been taken over by McDonalds ‘because the Whopper flopped’.

The page got hacked at about 5pm, and is suggesting people to follow and showing Youtube videos, as well as offering shout outs to ‘local iThug$’.The hacking has, however, increased Burger King's followers by over 6,000. Perhaps someone at the fast food chain has just come up with a new publicity stunt?
