The BBC has announced the appointment of Lindsay Nuttall as the head of marketing for Drama and BBC1.

Nuttall has previously held the role of head of marketing at BBC2 and BBC4, but had left in 2009 to become international marketing director at Myspace. After leaving Myspace in 2010, she worked at ASOS.

The announcement of Nuttall’s appointment follows Helen Normoyle, BBC’s director of marketing and audiences, revealing last week that she is leaving to join DFS. She will be replaced shortly.
