Superdrug has revealed its new TV advertising campaign, That Superdrug Feeling, starring real Superdrug staff instead of former brand ambassador Joanna Page.

Set to break on Thursday 7 February, the campaign celebrates that moment of joy when you find a great bargain.

The creative, from Billington Cartmell who have been appointed on a project by project basis, marks a change in direction for the retailer as part of the business' 2013 strategy, the initiative will tie in with seasonal events such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Christmas and will feature the offers that are available at these times.

Real store colleagues have been use to showcase Superdrug's dedication to customer service. The ad also features a bespoke soundtrack created by Superdrug.

Of the campaign, Superdrug marketing director, Matt Walburn, said: "This year brings a new look and feel to our TV advertising. We’ve enjoyed great success with the Take Another Look campaign and now want to build on this with a new creative using real store colleagues which is something we have never done in the past.

"Whilst the campaign focuses on tactical seasonal offers it’s done with Superdrug personality in a fun way."
