Many events marketers are waking up to a sustainability problem in their work: flying people and kit around the globe for multiple events every year has a major carbon cost. In a special one-off vlog, The Drum challenged Joshua Elser of experiential agency 2LK to put his money (and his time) where his mouth is, by traveling to last month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona using only trains, buses and his own two feet. Did he succeed? And did he save any carbon, money, or time?
