An eye-opening piece of scamp creative work has been posted by Karina Nurdinova, quoting Banksy, has been posted on the legal-two blog.

Incorporating an anti-advertisement missive in the form of one of the most iconic adverts of all time, the bright red Coca-Cola mark it seeks to subvert the very industry it challenges to promote a rethink of IP and copyright law.

It reads: ‘Intellectual property rights and copyright law mean advertisers can say what they like wherever they like with total impunity. Fuck that.’

“Any advert in a public space which gives you no choice whether you see it or not is yours. Its yours to take, to re-arrange and to re-use. You can do whatever you like with it. Asking for permission is like asking to keep a rock someone just threw at your head.”

The bold manifesto drew a swift response from readers with over a 1,000 registering their approval; amongst them user xgreydovex who asked ‘Is advertising a type of art or a type of torture?’

The Drum has contacted Coca-Cola for a response.
