It’s the work of creative agency Mother and is to launch the brand-new Japanese-inspired Teriyaki Burger and bites.

Social media sensation GK Barry stars in the latest KFC ad. The TikTok user, who has over 3m followers on the platform, believes that she should be able to name the new burger ‘Barryaki’.

On the ad, Barry said: “Absolutely buzzing to be starring in the sauciest ad of the year to launch the banging new Teriyaki Burger and Bites! The Colonel’s handed over the reins and I’m renaming this sweet, sticky delight ‘The Barryaki’. Get down to KFC before it’s too late!”

The campaign will go heavy on social during the launch, but there is a traditional media element and the work will feature on TV.

The Teriyaki Burger and Bites will be available from July 24, for a limited time only until September 3.
