Ad of the Day: Binge TV on your partner’s butt – in the name of sex
The unique campaign hopes to help couples make screen time a little bit…sexier?
Did you know that a whopping 26% of Americans did not have sex at all in 2021? According to the research conducted by General Social Survey, one of the factors may be the amount of screen time before bed.
With these sad stats in mind, Lisbon-based apparel company Maison Pixel has created the world’s first undergarments that are also a streaming platform – and a potential savior of dwindling libidos everywhere.
Yes, that’s right. Instead of being intimate with your partner, you can now just watch your favorite TV show on their bum instead.
So how does it all work? Well, the chroma-key color underwear coordinates with a specially designed Instagram filter compatible with all iOS and Android devices. When users look at the underwear through their phone’s camera, the filter allows them to see whatever content they want to play on top of it.
To launch the campaign, three ads featuring mannequin couples testing out the tech will be running across social media channels. Later on, there will also be partnerships with various influencers in both US and European markets.
