Dan Levy has the scoop on FOMO: stay close to the Tostitos chip bowl to avoid missing out on life’s major moments.

Tostitos is dipping into summer with a new campaign that features actor and comedian Dan Levy and aims to fend off the fear of missing out (FOMO) for good.

The popular chip brand’s latest endeavor, dubbed “Don’t miss the good stuff,” will unveil a new television commercial, Snapchat party game and chip kit giveaways. It’s also partnering MTV later this month.

Levy, an Emmy-winning showrunner who is known for co-creating and starring in Canadian TV show Schitt’s Creek, is teaming up with Tostitos for a second year in a row to make sure people avoid FOMO at every get-together. One year ago, he starred in anther Tostitos commercial with SNL comedienne Kate McKinnon.

This time around, Levy wrote, directed and starred in the spot. In the ad, Levy repeatedly misses out on memorable moments – including a baby’s first steps, a proposal and a shooting star – all by stepping away from the chips and dip. Goodby, Silverstein and Partners teamed with Levy on the effort which begins airing today.

Tostitos will have an especially big presence on MTV. It has strick a a partnership with the MTV Movie and TV Awards, slated to grace screens across the nation on June 5.

Fun and games with ‘FOMO or F No!’ on Snapchat

Also in the spirit of summertime, Tostitos has launch a new party game on Snapchat called “FOMO or F No!

When users open their Snapchat app and put on Tostitos’ “FOMO or F No!” lens, they’ll see a word or phrase representing a trend – think frosted tips and jazzercise – displayed on a tortilla chip. Players will then have to decide whether they would get FOMO from participating in the trend, or if they’d say “F no!” to joining in.

During the annual award show, MTV celebrities Josh Horowitz, Mark Long and Nia Moore will play Tostitos’ “FOMO or F No!” in the greenroom.

The game will also be featured on the pre-show red carpet, as well as the show's social channels, where fans can watch some of their favorite celebrity guests play the game as they enter the awards show.

Tostitos fans will also have a chance to win a limited-edition No Mo’ FOMO Chip Kit, an interactive box retrofitted with party sound and lighting, which includes a mix of Tostitos’ fan favorites, including Hint of Spicy Queso, Hint of Guacamole, and Habanero.
