Netflix Thailand unleashed an apocalyptically gory advertising push to promote the K-drama series All of Us Are Dead with a bloody yellow school bus – complete with zombies inside.

It’s a fresh take on real-life on-the-ground advertising, comprising of LED screens in the place of windows playing clips of teenagers trapped inside frantically trying to escape. The bus itself was adorned with the Netflix logo, bloody handprints and scratches.

Shocked locals took to social to share videos of the creative activation and discuss just how scary it was.

First airing in January of this year, the South Korean horror show is about a group of teenagers stuck inside a high school that has become ground zero for a zombie virus outbreak, and stars Squid Game actress Lee Yoo-Mi.

Reception to the coming-of-age show has been overall positive with viewers lauding its entertainment quality, even if there are some occasional plot holes.
