AMV BBDO, BBDO Düsseldorf and Hearts & Science chosen for Gates Foundation health campaign

Gates Foundation health campaign to be executed by AMV BBDO, BBDO Düsseldorf and Hearts & Science

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has appointed AMV BBDO, BBDO Düsseldorf and Hearts & Science to run a global health campaign geared towards garnering public support for efforts to end preventable death in the developing world.

The agency trio was selected following via a competitive pitch process organised by the AAR with a brief to communicate the importance of improving healthcare in the world’s poorest countries to British and German audiences.

Carolyn Esser, deputy director EMEO Communications at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, said: “We were deeply impressed with the passion, creativity and insight of the BBDO team and are excited to be working with them.”

Mark Swansborough, Hearts & Science COO, added: “It’s a real pleasure to be working with such a forward-thinking organisation, allowing us to do some exciting work utilising advanced analytics techniques such as Natural Language Processing to help inform the development of their communication strategy.”

Earlier this year Jack Ma and Melinda Gates promoted 'digital cooperation' to see off potential damage from technology.
