Daniel Marks launches Alias, the internal talent acquisition function to support clients on-site

Daniel Marks has bolstered its London team with the appointment of experienced consultant David Finlay. Capitalising on the network of candidate relationships developed at Daniel Marks since 2006, Finlay has direct access to 25 specialist consultants in the London office which provides the firepower of Alias which solely focuses on the internal talent acquisition for their clients.

By introducing a talent partner in-house, employed by Daniel Marks, clients will be making a significant cost saving whilst having a full or part time dedicated recruiter on-site. They will not only be well versed in the employer brand but will have direct access to:

  • 25 consultants in London
  • 60 consultants globally
  • Our head of diversity & inclusion - Gaby Dutton-Williams
  • A database of 15,000 candidates developed over 14 years

David says “The benefits of using Alias are a significant cost saving over typical recruitment spend, by having a committed talent acquisition partner on-site we are offering transparency on the hiring process, so our clients have visibility on where their spend goes.

“Working onsite allow us to plug into client’s organisation, understand how they operate, their culture and effectively manage their employer brand which in turn will lead to a leaner hiring process effecting time to hire and ultimately cost per hire. We can flex the frequency of the need for the talent partner to be onsite based on demand, however full support will be available at all times”.

Last month, Daniel Marks announced the news of Natasha Stark’s arrival to launch and head up their new Amsterdam office. This further adds to Daniel Marks’ global presence offering strategic consultancy advice with market trends, insight and analysis reporting. Interview training and internal talent management support if required. And within each discipline: Junior/ Mid Permanent, Senior Permanent, Freelance. The global network now spans Amsterdam, London, New York, LA, Dubai, Hong Kong and Singapore.

By being dedicated on-site, the talent partner is able to understand the companies culture and liaise directly with internal HR, talent management and line management so all verified and shortlisted candidates are on point and the process is run quickly and smoothly to be the conduit and catalyst for all candidate searches.

“We’re excited to be providing our clients with a premium recruitment service including contingent search, retained and now our in-house talent function, Alias. Each talent partner on-site will have direct access to over 250 years’ creative and marketing recruitment experience on speed dial. Our Consultants in head office have specialist recruitment experience within each of marketing, creative, account management, planning and strategy and delivery disciplines. As such, we’re able to provide every brief, permanent and freelance, a deep understanding with a specialist network of interviewed candidates, paired with the unique cultural insights of having a talent partner on location.

“David is professional, trustworthy and understands the intricacies of agency and marketing recruitment. He’s passionate about providing the up most client care, understanding what the best bespoke solution would be and dedicated to supplying a cost effective and results orientated Talent Acquisition model.” Dan Matthews – Founder & CEO at Daniel Marks.
