Cannes Lions winners go head to head in Creative Rumble
With Cannes Lions well and truly behind us, some may think that there’s little excuse to drink rose and listen to well-informed creatives chatting about the current state of the industry. But they’re wrong.
The Drum have partnered with Adobe Stock to bring a Creative Rumble to London.
The Drum is hosting a Creative Rumble in partnership with Adobe Stock, pitting industry experts against each other to talk about purpose in advertising and whether consumers are tired of advertiser’s efforts.
Held at McCann’s London offices, the evening will see Cannes Lion winners, McCann’s head of strategy Karen Crum and ECD Sanjiv Mistry go head to head with AMV BBDO’s creative partners Nick Hulley and Nadja Lossgott to provide some, no doubt, enlightening answers as to how they secured such high accolades at this year’s festival.
The AMV BBDO creatives were behind the agency’s now iconic #Bloodnormal campaign for Bodyform/ Libresse, which pushed industry standards when it featured period blood instead of the more widely accepted, blood liquid. Whereas McCann’s Crum was behind Xbox’s Design Lab which allowed gamers to design customised controllers.
A panel discussion will follow the Creative Rumble, where the creatives will offer tips for others on implementing ground-breaking ideas into their campaigns. Adobe will then deliver a subsequent Keynote session to round off the night.
