Speed Seekers, a new series of programmes aimed at motorsport fans, is coming to Insight TV from March 1 to document the lives and stories of the world’s most talented racers on two and four wheels.

Four shows will emerge within the series (outlined below) to spotlight Moto2 motorbike world champions, F1 veterans, professional drivers and amateur battles, as well as a close look at the Bolddog freestyle motorcross team and celebrity supercar owners.

Morbidelli Rising

To kick off the 2018 Moto GP motorbike season, new rider, rising star and world champion, Franco Morbidelli will give fans the inside track. The series charts the 18 months before Franco’s Moto GP track debut, revealing his mentoring and relationship with motorcycling legend, Valentino Rossi, as well as delving into his home life, the nerves and pressure leading up to his first race and his intense training sessions at The Ranch with Valentino Rossi.

Endurance: 24 Hours at Spa

Step into the lives of the drivers behind one of motorsport’s toughest races: the ‘Total 24 Hours of Spa’ in Belgium. This show goes behind the scenes, featuring personal stories with world class amateur and professional drivers, including F1 legend Rubens Barrichello, and interviews with six leading teams who compete over the course of 24 hours at this Belgian motor circuit.

FMX Nomads

Bolddog freestyle motorcross team motorcyclists Dan Whitby, Samson Eaton and Arran Powley provide access to their globetrotting lifestyles and reveal what it takes to their nomadic schedules. Journeying across of Amsterdam, the crew are faced with the challenge and added danger of working with drift car drivers Luke Woodham and Steve ‘Baggsy’ Biagioni, who star in their show.

Fast and Famous

Two celebrity supercar owners are pitted against each other to race their cars on a real race track. But the show’s host is also an accomplished race driver, who will train the celebrities in their quest to reach the chequered flag first. The celebrity who clocks the fastest time wins the grand prize and the honour of being the fastest famous petrol-head.
