Deliveroo hires Inés Ures from Treatwell as CMO

Deliveroo has appointed a new chief marketing officer in Inés Ures who joins from Treatwell.

She comes from hair and beauty bookings marketplace, where she was chief customer officer, and before that, chief marketing officer. At Treatwell she leveraged company data to drive the marketing team.

As global chief marketing officer, Deliveroo has tasked Ures with helping to extend the service beyond cities, and "to communicate Deliveroo’s unique selection and innovation".

Ures said: “Joining Deliveroo is an incredibly exciting opportunity. This is an ambitious company with a unique opportunity ahead of it and I want to play a role in making Deliveroo the definitive food company. I’m looking forward to throwing myself in to making sure that whenever you’re hungry, Deliveroo will be there for you.”

A Deliveroo spokesperson added: “We are delighted Ines is joining the team. She has a great track record and will make an excellent contribution at a time when the company is growing, building our offer to riders, restaurants and consumers. We want to bring more customers amazing food, whenever and wherever they are, and we know she will help us do just that.”

Deliveroo was founded in 2013 by William Shu and Greg Orlowski and boasts an estimated 50,000 restaurants and riders. Deliveroo recently launched in Taiwan and is now present in 13 markets and expects to launch in others shortly.
