CAA Sports, part of entertainment and sports business the Creative Artists Agency, has confirmed its appointment of Havas veteran Rachel Conlan to help build brand and business opportunities for its clients.

Conlan is a former global chief marketing operations officer for Havas, during which time she worked with brands such as IBM, Reckitt Benckiser and Citibank. In her new role Conlan will work with CAA Sports’ own property sales, brand consulting and athlete representation groups to maximise branding opportunities.

Paul Danforth, global head of sales at CAA Sports, said: “As part of CAA Sports’ accelerated growth strategy, which aims to replicate our domestic U.S. success overseas, we have broadened the agency’s reach and resources across the U.K., Europe, and Asia through strategic hires, complementary acquisitions, and the establishment of key offices.

“Rachel is a remarkably accomplished global marketing executive, whose expertise, experience, and strategic insights will bring a unique perspective to our team and play an integral role in the continued growth of CAA Sports within the global sports landscape.”

Prior to her role as global CMO, Conlan served as managing director of Havas LuxHub.
