Lopez will be devoting most of her time to the Academy of Healing Nutrition, which she co-founded in 2017 and now directs. The New York-based company offers training courses and counselling in the holistic health and alternative medicine space.
Despite the move, Lopez underlined that she will still consult in mobile and marketing. After two years as the head of Mobext, Lopez made the announcement on LinkedIn. She said she was passionate about holistic health and wellness having previously trained as a health coach in New York.
Lopez said: “What I learnt in this program changed my life. Last year I was fortunate enough to partner with the school and open their campus here in London. It has been an incredibly rewarding journey to open our doors and see students go through such transformation.
She added: “I have been in awe of the potential of this venture and believe in it whole-heartedly and will, therefore, be focusing my time and attention on growing this program while maintaining a foot in the digital and mobile world via consulting.”
On departing Havas after seven years in media, she said she “thoroughly enjoyed” her time but is looking forward to the new opportunities ahead.
Havas has confirmed Mobext is looking to hire for the vacant role. It boasts around 130 mobile experts across a reported 39 offices.
