Hockey India has named Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) as the official partner Odisha Hockey Men's World Cup Bhubaneswar 2018.

As part of the partnership, OMC will receive the ‘Gold’ category state PSU (public sector undertaking) and will aim to promote sports development throughout the state of Odisha.

The Odisha Hockey Men's World Cup Bhubaneswar 2018 is set to take place from November 28 - December 16, 2018 at the Kalinga Hockey Stadium, Bhubaneswar.

OMC managing director R. Vineel Krishna said: “It is a matter of great pride for Odisha Mining Corporation Limited and the Government of Odisha, to be able to support the sport of hockey, and the biggest tournament in the sport.

"This partnership further highlights the unparalleled dedication of OMC towards encouraging sports, and helping in developing the state of Odisha. I would like to thank Hockey India for providing us with the opportunity to partner for the Odisha Hockey Men's World Cup Bhubaneswar 2018 and we hope it will be a successful tournament for our country.”
