The Drum Digital Trading Awards USA are launching for 2018 with industry experts from DotDash, Beeler Tech and SalientMG joining the judging panel.
Entries are now open to anyone in the US digital media/trading space who can show that they offer a high value service or technology.
Founder of Beeler Tech, Rob Beeler wants to see true impact from this year's entrants. He said; "Lost among the continual noise of an industry with a lot of moving pieces are people and technology having a real impact on their companies futures. The novelty of programmatic is gone and it's time to start seeing results."
These awards will reward programmatic performance and give recognition to the best in the programmatic and ad-tech industry in the USA.
2017 saw The New York Times take home the Grand Prix for 'The Truth is Hard' campaign.
Returning to the judging panel for 2018 is Dotdash's head of programmatic revenue and strategy, Sara Badler. Some of the reasons she thinks you should enter these awards is to network, to learn about nuances in an ever so complicated industry and to really just put yourself out of your comfort zone. "It’s a great way to see how some of our peers and creatives are thinking, while also forcing yourself to think outside of the box as well.
According to Badler, everything is motivating the digital sector right now. "Everything is new," she said. "Even when we talk about the programmatic space, its only been a short time over a decade (which is just not a lot of time) so the nuances, the everlasting change are all things that are important and motivating. I am motivated by my peers and what is happening around me so that is a major part of it."
