In a Twitter thread, Musk replied to Acton tweeting: "What's Facebook?" When another user chellenged him to delete the SpaceX Facebook page, which had around 2.5 million followers, Musk tweeted "I didn’t realize there was one. Will do."

And it didn't end there. Another user asked him to delete the Tesla page from Facebook to which Musk tweeted "Definitely. Looks lame anyway."

Musk kept his promise and deleted all the pages from Facebook which were used by Tesla and SpaceX to livestream rocket launches.

Mozilla and Commerzbank are the first brands to have retreated from Facebook in the wake of the scandal around Cambridge Analytica.
