UK Top Shazamed Ads: Haven Holidays and Virgin Media take top spots with upbeat entries

The Drum's Shazam chart is based on the number of times each ad has been Shazamed over the past week using the music identification app.

With another year rolling around, this week sees a whole host of brand new campaigns making it into the chart.

Haven Holidays has taken the number one spot with 'A Breath of Fresh Air', a light hearted road trip focusing on two sisters, along with their parents, taking in the wonders and sights of a Haven holiday park on a go-kart.

Virgin TV has bounced in at number two with its dance-themed ad for the new Virgin TV V6 set-top box. The video features Chase, Skye and Marshall from ‘Paw Patrol’, along with dancers dressed up as characters from other hit TV shows like The Walking Dead and Orange is the New Black. All dancing inside a V6 box to Missy Elliott’s ‘We Run This’.

Volkswagen launched a new ad with attitude for the latest addition to its SUV family, the T-Roc. The video depicts a young, rambunctious ram, born with attitude, taking on dogs, sheers and cows but when the T-Roc makes an appearance, he knows when to back off.
