Lucky generals will start working with the brands effective immediately

The London-based creative agency will develop the Tennent's Lager and Bulmers Irish Cider brands, both of which are owned by the Dublin-based C&C Group.

Lucky Generals won the contract with both brands without a pitch and will start working with them immediately.

Gav Thompson, C&C Group's interim chief marketing officer said: "Both Tennent's and Bulmers are huge brands and deserve the very best thinking and work possible. That's why we've appointed Lucky Generals: they're a world class agency and they're at the top of their game right now."

Andy Nairn, founder of Lucky Generals said: "As a Scot, working on Tennent's is obviously a dream come true. And Bulmers is similarly part of the fabric of Ireland. So we're really excited by the chance to help these iconic brands make even more of an impact, culturally."

The appointment rounds off a strong year for Lucky Generals which launched its own sports marketing agency, Dark Horses, in August followed by an experience design company to be led by former R/GA executive Kelly Wright.
