WikiLeaks has published the personal email address of US president Barack Obama in the latest trove of hacked emails to be listed after the account of Clinton’s campaign chief John Podesta was compromised.

For those interested in striking up a conversation the address is but don’t expect a reply from the leader of the free world, with the account likely to be closed swiftly.

For those interested Ameritech is the defunct brand was acquired by SBC back in 1999 before subsequently bought out again by AT&T in 2006 – throughout all this legacy email addresses appear to have remained unaffected.

Obama is unlikely to be too troubled by the disclosure however, doubtless using multiple addresses and secretaries to manage his digital affairs.
