The O2 has appointed independent agency Impero as their lead creative agency.
The creative agency will be working with The O2 to create a brand campaign that will celebrate The O2 as the world’s premiere entertainment destination and as a brand itself. The campaign will roll out online and through social media, as well as out of home and within The O2.
Jules Arnott, marketing and communications director of The O2 said: “Impero showed an immediate understanding of our brand DNA and what we want to achieve as a brand and as the world’s best venue. We are looking forward to creating great work in the future with them."
Michael Scantlebury, Impero’s creative director and founder, commented on the appointment: “The O2 has a bold vision – to be bigger than a stage for the world’s best acts, but an entertainment brand in its own right. They understand that reaching new people online is how they’re going to achieve that goal. We’re excited to create the first big brand-building campaign for this established London icon.”
Impero is a creative agency based in London, with offices in Sydney and Buenos Aires. Impero work with clients such as Beefeater Gin, 7UP and Lindt Chocolates.
