Felix Velarde, chairman at Momentum ABM and one of the first people to have a web agency in 1994, is set to join the line-up at The Drums’ new business conference, Brief Encounters as one of the main speakers this year.
The digital entrepreneur, who was previously been chief executive officer at six different agencies and an agency group, will be giving a talk at the end of the day about the lessons he learned from his time in the industry as well as providing new business professionals some tips he has picked up during his career.
Following his talk, the business strategy specialist will also be holding a Q&A covering topics not included in his ‘Lessons From a Serial Entrepreneur’ talk.
Joining Velarde will be Stephen Reed, deputy creative director at Specsavers, Helen Miall, head of marketing at Weve and O2 Commerce, Trevor Cairns, chief executive officer at Love Creative and Paul Daives, chief marketing officer UK at Microsoft and more giving talks and advice to new business hopefuls.
The full day event is aimed at the business owner, directors and new business or marketing managers.
