Super Marketers Top Trumps game and personalised cards created for 1000 readers with The Drum's AI Issue

Readers have been invited to play The Drum Top Trumps in a bid to find the industry's greatest Super Marketer through an online game developed in partnership with IBM Watson.

The Drum Top Trumps game will allow players the opportunity to compare their scores, analysed by IBM's artificial intelligence technology Watson, which was given access to the Twitter accounts of 1,000 marketing professionals who have each received their own personalised Top Trump card on the special cover the latest issue of The Drum.

Each of those cards can be viewed on The Drum Top Trumps online platform, while new players can log in and create their own cards by adding their Twitter profile to the app before comparing their Super Marketer scores with other players.

Stephen Lepitak, editor of The Drum, commented: "The Drum Top Trumps was an idea that we could only have produced in partnership with IBM Watson to allow us to analyse the personality traits of the industry and some of its most successful professionals. We then were lucky enough to work with Winning Moves which owns the licence for the game and Twitter also helped us with the analysis to create the individual cards and a fun online game for all readers to play."

The specially wrapped The Drum Top Trumps magazine will hit desks on Thursday 16 June while full details on how the Super Marketers game was created can be found online.

Players can create their own Trump cards and compete against other marketers' scores through the online app here.
