Direct Line announces Emergency Plumber service in ad featuring Harvey Keitel

Direct Line has launched the latest in its 'Fixer' line featuring Harvey Keitel.

Set to air during Britain’s Got Talent on ITV2 on Sunday, the ad, announcing Direct Line’s Emergency Plumber proposition will later follow on VOD, digital OOH and digital display.

The spot shares the news that the Emergency Plumber service will ensure a plumber attends a customer’s property within three hours.

Wendy Pearson, head of marketing at Direct Line said: “There’s a real lack of understanding about what to do when you have a leak, and consumers are unlikely to contact their insurer when it happens to them.

“This campaign aims to break the natural instinct to call their parents when they can’t find the stopcock, and instead call on Direct Line to fix their problem quickly and effectively.”

The campaign, created by Saatchi & Saatchi London, sees Harvey Keitel reprise his character - Winston Wolf from Pulp Fiction.
