Madison Avenue had a rebirth on TV and in the real world as millions tuned in to watch the world of Don Draper unfold in 2007 on AMC’s ‘Mad Men.’

From the boardroom to the bedroom, Don and his colleagues at Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce took viewers on a journey from the 60s to the 80s in ad land.

With world-famous ad references and quintessential period costumes, Mad Men depicted portions of American society and culture. From smoking and afternoon drinks to counterculture and adultery, the show covered a range of topics both taboo and all too real.

Mad Men made history as the rst basic cable series to win the Emmy for Outstanding Drama series in four consecutive years. After seven seasons and 92 episodes, Mad Men’s nal episode aired on May 17, 2015 with another iconic moment from advertising history, the Coca-Cola ‘Hilltop’ commercial featuring the much-loved song, ‘I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing’.
