Snapchat hires Facebook's Claire Valoti as it continues to build European operations
Snapchat is continuing is wave of senior hires in the UK and has snapped up Facebook's director of agency partnerships Claire Valoti as general manager of UK sales.
The social media app has made a raft of recent hires as it builds up its European operations including BuzzFeed's former director of brand partnerships for Europe Johnathan Davies and Will Scougal, Twitter UK's head of brand strategy.
Snapchat will look to tap into Valoti's agency contacts within the UK as it prepares to open its first ever office in London.
A spokesperson from Snapchat told The Drum: "We are thrilled to have Claire join the Snapchat family and help us grow our team and efforts in the UK."
Snapchat's expansion in Europe is being led by Imran Kahn, the company's chief strategy officer.
