Uber's Walls Ice Cream delivery scheme gets frosty reception in London due to high demand
Ride-hailing app Uber teamed up with Walls to deliver chilled snacks to the apps users in the UK.
The global initiative, which has run for the last three years, today (Friday 24 July) operated in UK eight cities, delivering to those who select a unique ice cream option in the app.

Running with the hashtag #UberIceCream between 11am and 7pm, in London especially there was a high demand for the frosted treats.
Those who Uber reached shared how grateful they were.

Naturally, a majority of despondent Londoners were vocal about the lack of availability from the scheme.

McDonald’s Netherlands earlier this month operated a similar campaign in which a smart billboard doled out McFlurry ice cream during heatwaves.
