The Drum has been shortlisted for six awards including business magazine of the year at the PPA Awards.

There is recognition for both our print title and online efforts, with further nominations coming in the digital innovation of the year, gamechanger of the year and media brand of the year business media categories.

Editor-in-chief Gordon Young is shortlisted in the business editor of the year category and The Drum Live is shortlisted for business event of the year.

The Drum has enjoyed success at the PPA Awards in recent years, scooping the business magazine of the year title in 2013 and publishing innovator of the year for founder Diane Young at last year's ceremony.

The PPA nominations follow The Drum being shortlisted for three awards – content team of the year, event of the year and editorial campaign of the year – at the British Media Awards.

The Drum's editor Stephen Lepitak said: "It always feels like a fantastic achievement when the PPA judges recognise the work we do each year in attempting to bring insight and excitement to our readers through the online content, magazine and events we produce. We are grateful to them for nominating us amongst such distinguished publications for these awards.

"We look forward to what is sure to be a fantastic ceremony with excitement and a few butterflies in our bellies."
