Happy Halloween, prepare to be spooked with Unruly Media's top-five-most-viewed scary ads ever made.

Typically, LG dominates the list taking both second and fourth place with its HD display pranks however, the 'Telekinetic Coffee Shop Surprise', released to promote the 2013 remake of Carrie, takes the top spot.

1. Carrie: Telekinetic Coffee Shop Surprise

This chilling coffee shop prank featuring a woman lose control of herself as she throws a man around the room using telekinesis takes first place.

It has had 59,550,654 views since it was released 7 October 2013.

2. LG: Ultra Reality: What would you do in this situation?

LG's meteor prank is a timeless classic with the firm using a 58" HD display, disguised as a window to terrify unfortunate employees who think their death is imminent - watch as these peoples' supposed last moments are recorded.

It has raked in 20,353,124 views since it was released in September 2013.

3. Learn For Life Foundation of WA: Set Yourself Free

Never before has truancy been dealt with so severely. This short directed by Henry Inglis and Aaron McCann for the Learn For Life Foundation of WA wrote the book on giving viewers a false sense of security. Just watch as the truants' perfect day becomes the perfect nightmare.

The ad has accumulated 18,645,720 views since it was released January 2014.

4. LG: So Real it's Scary

LG returns, this time with a cruel elevator prank which sees the floor fall out from beneath individuals' feet.

It's had 22,907,321 views since its release October 2012.

5. Dead Island: Official Announcement Trailer

This final ad was so critically acclaimed, it was widely acknowledged to be much better than the game it was promoting. This evocatively-shot zombie catastrophe stuck in the minds of viewers long after Dead Island faded into obscurity.

It's had 13,885,116 views since it was first announced in February 2011.

Following in the footsteps of these chilling ads was Ford's haunted car wash prank which was released last week.
