The Sun newspaper has launched a new website, ‘Deliver my Sun’, that provides a 12 week free delivery service.

Created by digital agency Clock Limited, the site allows Sun readers to find their nearest newsagent or delivery method, get vouchers for free delivery sent to their home and arrange for delivery of their newspaper.

Of the initiative, News UK chief marketing officer, Chris Duncan said home delivery was “the most convenient way for our readers” to get the newspaper every day and with a circulation of 2.3 million for The Sun’s Saturday edition it “represents the largest national offer for home news delivery that we have ever promoted”.

Duncan added: “We're very proud of our work with the independent channel and hope this further demonstrates our commitment to putting customers into their shops and money in their pockets”

The website developed by Clock leverages both the agency’s creative and UX skills to create a clean and responsive website with a focus on usability and a slick step-by-step process.

Sam Chatwin, Clock creative director, commented: “At Clock we like to champion the user and the usability of everything we create, meaning the Deliver My Sun project for News UK was a perfect opportunity for us to help The Sun deliver a complex campaign in an extremely simple and intuitive manner.”
