Thorpe Park Resort has appointed Exeat as its social media agency less than a year after the account last moved.
The account was previously managed by We Are Social, which won the account in July 2013.
Exeat has been briefed to integrate social into the company's broader online strategy and its appointment has been announced at the same time as Exeat reveals a new e-commerce website for the theme park.
Seb Bench, CEO of Exeat, said: “We were thrilled to be appointed for this key piece of work for the Merlin Group and have enjoyed every part of this project.”
The new website was designed to be fully responsive, with the aim to provide a simple and seamless user experience for families across the country.
It will build on the park’s ‘An Island Like No Other’ positioning, a campaign for which was launched yesterday by TMBA/Manchester.
