Guardian writer calls for boycott of Total Rush brand
Guardian writer Catherine Deveny has urged her 28,055 Twitter followers to boycott the Total Rush cycling brand in protest over a promotional execution involving models wearing body paint.She published a series of tweets showing images of the promotion.In subsequent twitter exchanges with cyclist Bridie O’Donnell, she said the brand had later apologised unreservedly for the execution.The @cyclingtips account said that it had undertaken an interview with the brand, and would shortly be issuing an interview, including a statement from @totalrush.@totalrush has not commented publicly at the time of publication.
